Hank home in Gilbert Arizona

The Hank home in Gilbert has a nice new look. They had some columns that were faux painted in a green marble. It was done well but they were looking for a more natural marble to go with their rich furnishings so we were called in to make the change. Check out the transformation. We are off this week getting ready for the home show at the Maricopa fairgrounds this weekend. Please stop by and say hi if you make it to the show.

Binder Scottsdale home.

We completed our project at the Binder home in Scottsdale. Metallic powder bath and Master bath ceilings. I know I sound like a broken record but getting pictures of metallic finishes in tight not well lit areas don't really bring out the beauty of the work. Our client was very happy and that's the bottom line. We are off to Gilbert next week to do some columns and a fireplace. We will have a booth at the October home show. If you need tickets let us know.

Wall switches were painted to match tile.

Scottsdale home powder bath

Our client was very effusive about the work we did in their powder bath. After spending a pretty penny to rebuild and add expensive decor, they were wanting just the right look to finish it off. The coffer cried out for a multi-layered metallic faux finish to compliment the sink and mirror frame. The walls and ceiling were painted to a more yellow tint to complement the tile siding and floor. Then an elegant watermark type faux finish was added to flow from the ceiling down to the tiled walls. It was difficult to capture the true beauty of the bathroom with the bright afternoon light coming and the limitation of getting a wide shot of it all but here are some before and after with a few different angles to show off the faux.
We are headed back to Scottsdale next week. More bathrooms!

Marble column faux project in Mesa

We finished up our column project in Mesa. The home owner wanted a soft travertine look to go with her tile. Mission accomplished. After the before and after pictures I included a couple of close ups showing the progress and some close ups of the final faux finish. It's a pretty soft faux to try to get a picture of. They are pretty amazing to see in person.

The Palaz Gilbert home

This week we returned to the Palaz home in Gilbert. They had painted a red accent wall and wanted it toned down. We ran a black glaze over it and gave it kind of a smokey look. I didn't take pictures of it because it is so subtle you wouldn't be able to see the faux in pictures. We have done this look a couple of times and people seem to love it. I did grab some shots of the work we had previously done to share with you. You get better pictures when the glaze had dried and the sheen has lessened. We are off to Scottsdale to do a column project next week.

Soft watermark faux at The Boulders

We returned to the Tully home at The Boulders in Scottsdale to do a ceiling, a coffer that separates the kitchen from the den, and a den wall. All done in a soft mushroom glaze watermark type of faux. Not spectacular in pictures but a very nice treatment when you are doing large areas and just want some movement and some color. We get a lot of requests for this type of faux. The last picture is something we did a while back. It's still stunning to come back and see.
