Break Away Brick FAUX by Kerri G

We have been working the past few weeks in central Phoenix doing some amazing faux finishes. The client wanted to have something special in their casita and were tired of the red wall. Kerri did our break away brick look for them. We also did a marble finish on their fireplace and bathroom. Be sure to click on the pictures to get a good look at how well these faux finishes turned out.

We have been busy! Kicking into the New Year at full speed. I am behind on my post (as usual) so to catch up here are some pictures of our latest projects. We did several bedrooms in a watermark type faux for a lovely couple in Glendale and then to Ahwahtukee for a marble faux on a few columns. We are off to North Phoenix to do our breakaway brick faux this week.

In case you are not aware Kerri is in Uganda, Africa visiting an orphanage she has adopted with love and support.. Before she left we did do some projects that I would like to share. This first one is a repair. This was a rental home in Scottsdale that got damaged by a tenant. Repairing someone else's faux can be tricky especially in a very visible location. So how did she do?

We completed a project at a home in Scottsdale. Seems like most of our projects are from that area lately. A copper metallic stove hood and metallic powder bathroom. The color of metallic was played off of the sink they had. We also painted some outlet covers to match the backsplash. We are back at it in Scottsdale for next few weeks. A big project in Breakaway brick faux and more!

Master Bath in Ahwatukee

A master bath that we had faux painted years ago was damaged in a remodel, so we were asked to come back in a fix it. With years comes experience so we asked to redo the entire bath to our more improved look. The clients were very happy with the results.

First project of 2017

We completed our first project of 2017. A large niche in a home in the troon area of Scottsdale. This is a metallic faux. It is done by adding layer upon layer until the right look is achieved. The colors were geared around the candelabra and a large piece of art hanging by an adjacent wall. Our client just kept saying "beautiful...beautiful"
We are on to our next project this week. 4 8ft outdoor columns. Not sure were up for this but here goes!
